South-Of-The-Border Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    12 tortillas, cut in half
    8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat and add onion; cook until tender.
    Stir in tomato sauce and seasonings.
    Alternate layers of meat mixture, tortillas and cheese in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
