Deluxe Gingerbread(Serves 9) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 egg
    3/4 c. molasses
    2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together.
    Blend in egg and molasses.
    Stir in dry ingredients sifted together alternately with buttermilk.
    Pour in a greased and floured 9 x 3-inch square pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
    Serve warm.
