Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 large tomatoes
    2 1/2 onions, chopped
    3 bell peppers, chopped
    1/4 c. Brer Rabbit syrup
    2 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. ginger
    2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Peel tomatoes.
    Chop onions and peppers fine.
    Combine all ingredients in saucepan; cover.
    Boil gently (uncover) for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
    Pour into bottle and seal.
