Betty Ford'S Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. cubed lean stew meat
    2 Tbsp. corn oil
    2 large onions, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    4 carrots, cut up
    4 stalks celery, cut up
    2 medium green peppers, cut up
    3 Tbsp. flour
    pinch of thyme and marjoram
    1 c. dry red wine
    2 c. beef bouillon
    walnuts
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil.
    Add onions, garlic and 2 teaspoons salt. Add flour, seasonings, wine and bouillon.
    Simmer on low about 1 1/2 hours or more if needed, then add the vegetables and simmer 1/2 to 3/4 hour more, until tender.
