Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

1 1/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
4 egg whites
1 c. water
1/2 c. Karo corn syrup
Preparation

Spray 9-inch square baking pan with Mazola no stick cooking spray.
In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, baking soda and salt.
In medium bowl, using a fork or wire whisk, mix egg whites, water and corn syrup.
Add to flour mixture; stir until smooth.
Pour into pan; bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Makes 16 servings.
