Almond Fruit Tart - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. softened butter
    1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg yolk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. toasted almonds (slivered or ground)
    8 oz. softened cream cheese
    2 Tbsp. Amaretto or 1/2 tsp. almond extract
    fresh fruit to cover
    1/4 c. apricot jam
    1 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Cream butter and 1/2 cup sugar.
    Beat in yolk, one teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 teaspoon almond extract.
    Mix in flour and almonds to form dough.
    Press into 11-inch tart pan or medium pizza pan. Prick shell.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Cool and reserve.
