Strawberry Chiffon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin
1 c. sugar, divided
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk, scalded
4 eggs, separated
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. lemon juice
2 c. fresh strawberries
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation

Mix gelatin, 3/4 cup sugar and salt in top of double boiler. Stir in milk, stirring with whisk until gelatin is dissolved. Stir in well beaten egg yolks while stirring briskly.
Cook until mixture coats a spoon.
Remove from heat.
Divide between 2 bowls. Add cream cheese and half the lemon juice to one and beat until smooth.
Pour into pie shell.
