Hazelnut Tulipes With Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shelled hazelnuts (filberts)
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    whites of 2 large eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. rum extract
    1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    2 (12 oz. each) pkg. frozen unsweetened raspberries, thawed
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 qt. vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
    1/2 pt. fresh raspberries
    mint leaves (optional)
