Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    8 level Tbsp. flour
    pinch of salt (about 1/4 tsp.)
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, separated
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix flour and sugar; add enough milk to moisten well.
    Beat until no small lumps of flour or sugar remain.
    Add egg yolks and mix well.
    Add remaining milk and stir.
    Cook in a double boiler or on top of stove at medium heat.
    If on stove top, stir constantly as it will scorch easily.
    Remove from heat when it thickens.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Stir well; pour into baked pie shell.
    Use egg whites for your favorite meringue.
    Put in oven until slightly brown.
