Fried Pies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. milk
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 1/4 c. flour
fruit, cooked
Preparation

Put oil in measuring cup. Fill to top with milk. Add salt and baking powder. Work in flour to roll out. Lay a saucer upside down on dough and cut around it. Lay fruit on half of circle. Turn over and pinch edges together to seal. Cook in hot oil on one side. Turn and finish cooking on other side. Drain on paper towel.
