Blonde Christmas Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter or oleo
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. walnuts or pecans, chopped
1/3 c. red and green candied cherries, mix together to make 1/3 c.
1/3 c. coconut
Preparation

Combine first three items in large saucepan over low heat. Stir constantly.
Bring to boiling point.
Boil gently for 238\u00b0. Remove from heat.
Add butter and vanilla without stirring very much.
Let stand to cool (lukewarm).
Beat until candy no longer shines and starts to hold its shape.
Stir in nuts, cherries and coconut quickly.
Turn into a greased pan and cut into squares.
