Peach Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pie shells, cooked and cooled or graham crusts
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1 1/3 c. hot water
    1/4 c. jello (apricot, peach or lemon)
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. almond
    1 qt. peeled, sliced, fresh peaches
Preparation
    Mix the cornstarch, sugar and hot water and cook. Add jello. Cool and add vanilla and almond. Mix peaches into cooled mixture and place in shells. Top with Cool Whip and sprinkle with nutmeg. Refrigerate. Makes 2 (8-inch) pies or 1 large.
