Mexican Corn Bread Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. Longhorn cheese
    1 large onion, chopped
    4 to 5 jalapeno peppers
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. grease
    1 c. sweet milk
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 (1 lb.) can cream-style corn
Preparation
    Mix cornmeal, soda, salt, grease, milk, eggs and corn together. Pour half of batter in a greased skillet.
    Sprinkle cheese, onion, peppers and ground beef.
    Pour remainder of batter in skillet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
