Country Fried Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. bacon drippings or shortening
    6 cooked, pared, thickly sliced potatoes
    1 medium onion, chopped
Preparation
    Melt butter and drippings in a heavy skillet.
    Add sliced potatoes and chopped onion to the hot skillet.
    Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    Cook over low heat until bottom is brown; turn and brown other side.
