Chili Con Queso - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. well drained chopped canned tomatoes
    4 oz. can chopped green chilies
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 lb. grated Velveeta cheese
Preparation
    Saute garlic and onion in butter.
    Add tomatoes, chilies, chili powder, salt and pepper.
    Simmer until well blended.
    Add cheese and stir until melted.
