Mother'S Sally Lunn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour (plain)
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten separately
    3/4 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation
    Add sugar to beaten egg yolks.
    Mix other dry ingredients; mix alternately with milk into egg and sugar mixture, then add melted butter.
    Beat egg whites until stiff (not dry); fold in.
    Bake in well-greased oblong or square pan or muffin tins.
    For the loaf, allow 40 minutes in moderate oven (350\u00b0).
