Oriental Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 to 6 lb.) hen
    1 pkg. French-cut green beans, frozen
    1 pkg. English peas, frozen
    2 cans water chestnuts, sliced
    1 can bamboo shoots
    1 can bean sprouts
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    2 cans French fried onions
    1/2 can chicken broth (stock from hen)
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    season salt (Lawry's)
Preparation
    Cook hen in 2-quarts of water or enough to cover. Bring to a boil and cook covered on lower heat until tender, approximately 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
    Remove from water and let cool. Take chicken off bones and cut up in small pieces.
