Icebox Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 lb. butter
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. powdered sugar
    3 pkg. unfilled ladyfingers
    4 eggs, separated
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the first 4 ingredients; bring to a boil.
    Boil for 5 minutes.
    Meanwhile, separate the ladyfingers.
    Separate the eggs. Take chocolate mixture off stove; allow to cool.
    When cool, add the 4 egg yolks, granulated sugar and vanilla.
    Beat the 4 egg whites until stiff; fold into the chocolate mixture.
    In a 2-quart casserole, add about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of the sauce.
    Add a single row of ladyfingers and repeat to the top, ending with sauce. Chill at least 8 hours.
    Spoon out into sauce dishes; top with whipped cream.
