Mixed Vegetable Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    3/4 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 stick butter or oleo
    1 stack Ritz crackers, crushed
Preparation
    Melt butter or oleo and mix with crushed crackers. Cook frozen vegetables according to package directions and drain. After vegetables cool, combine all ingredients (except cracker mixture) in a 2-quart or 9 x 13-inch casserole dish. Top casserole with cracker mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
