Icebox Pecan Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Mix shortening,
    sugar\tand
    egg.
    Add\tflour, soda and salt. Add vanilla.
    Mix
    well.
    Shape
    into rolls and wrap in waxed paper or
    foil
    and store in refrigerator until ready to bake at 350\u00b0
    until
    lightly browned.
    These may be frozen and thawed slightly and sliced and baked.
