7-Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, shredded
    1 c. celery
    4 eggs (hard-boiled)
    cauliflower (fresh) or frozen peas (as you wish)
    1/2 c. green pepper (if desired)
    onion as desired
    8 slices bacon
    1 1/2 c. mayonnaise and 2 Tbsp. sugar, mixed well
    4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Place in a 9 x 13-inch pan in order.
    Refrigerate 8 to 12 hours.
