Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    5 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 unbeaten eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. hot water
Preparation
    In large bowl, sift together sugar, flour, baking powder, cocoa and salt.
    Dissolve soda in hot water, add along with the remaining ingredients.
    Beat for 2 minutes either by hand or at medium speed with mixer.
    Batter will be thin.
    Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Use 9 x 12-inch pan or one 9 x 9-inch pan and 12 cupcakes.
