Strawberry Champagne Sorbet* * * * * - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    2 c. whipping cream
    1 c. sugar
    3 c. champagne
    4 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    The recipe for Coq Au Vin is a take off on the traditional French chicken.
    Originally it was for a chafing dish, but, for me, it is easier to finish in the oven and enjoy my guests.
