Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    6 eggs, separated
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1/4 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time.
    Add soda to flour and sift mixture 3 times.
    Add alternately, flour and sour cream to creamed mixture.
    Beat egg whites and fold into mixture.
    Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 teaspoon lemon flavoring. Bake in a tube pan at 300\u00b0 for 1 to 2 hours.
    Let stand 15 minutes before taking out of pan.
    The longer you keep this cake, the more moist it becomes.
