Red Earth Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 Tbsp cocoa
1 tsp red food coloring
3 Tbsp strong hot coffee
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk

Preparation

Beat butter and sugar together.
Add eggs, cocoa, food coloring, coffee, soda and vanilla.
Beat well.
Add in flour, salt and buttermilk.
Bake in 3 greased pans at 375\u00b0 until done. Cool cakes, then fill and frost with Red Earth Icing.
