Grandmother'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Grease and flour 1 large loaf pan.
    Set oven at 300\u00b0.
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    When creamy, fold in flour and salt.
    Spoon into pan and bake about 1 1/2 hours.
    Wrap tightly when completely cooled. Pound cake improves if stored a day or two.
