Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. boiling water
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    4 egg yolks (reserve the egg whites)
    1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    grated rind of 1 whole lemon
Preparation
    Combine sugar and cornstarch.
    Add water slowly, stirring until smooth and thick.
    Add slightly beaten egg yolks, butter, lemon juice and rind.
    Cook over low heat until thick.
    Pour into the baked pie crust.
