Ham And Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. navy beans
    2 smoked ham hocks
    4 qt. hot water
    1 small onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 lb. fried bacon, cut in small pieces
Preparation
    Wash beans in warm water.
    Combine beans, water, onion, salt and pepper in a large pot.
    Cook on medium heat for 2 hours.
    Add ham hocks and bacon.
    Cook 2 more hours.
