Turtle Cake No. 264 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 lb. caramels
    3/4 c. butter
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
Preparation
    Mix cake mix according to directions on package and pour half in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 minutes.
    Melt caramels together with butter and Eagle Brand milk.
    Pour over baked cake and cover with remaining cake batter.
    Sprinkle with 1 cup nuts and 1 cup chocolate chips.
    Bake another 20 minutes.
