Mango Chutney - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. firm half-ripe mangos
    1 glove garlic, chopped fine
    3/4 c. chopped, preserved ginger
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. raisins (golden if possible)
    1 tsp. salt
    2 finely chopped chili peppers
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. each: cloves, allspice and nutmeg
Preparation
    Peel and cut mangos in pieces.
    Cook sugar and vinegar to a boil.
    Add garlic, ginger, onion, salt, raisins, peppers and spices.
    Cook 10 minutes.
    Add mangos and cook until transparent.
