Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 c. crushed pretzels (not too fine)
    3/4 c. melted butter or margarine
    3 tsp. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
    1 c. sugar
    1 (8 to 9 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 large strawberry Jell-O
    2 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) quick-thaw frozen strawberries
Preparation
    Mix the first 3 ingredients well.
    Pat into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake for 8 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Do not overbake.
    Let cool.
    Mix well, cream cheese, sugar and Cool Whip.
    Spread onto cooled pretzel crust.
    Mix together, the Jell-O, boiling water and strawberries.
    Stir until thawed and thickened.
    Pour over cream cheese layer and refrigerate.
    Serves 12 to 16, depending on the size of serving.
