Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cabbage (bite size)
    1/2 onion
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    2 c. shredded American cheese
    1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crumbled
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Spread 1/2 stick of margarine in casserole dish. Layer cabbage, onions and then cheese.
    Mix in a bowl the mayonnaise and cream of mushroom.
    Then spread over top of cheese.
    Mix crackers and the rest of the margarine together; put on top.
    Bake for 45 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Cover with aluminum foil the first 30 minutes.
