Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 cube butter
1/2 c. Crisco oil
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 1/2 c. flour

Preparation

Cream together sugar, powdered sugar, butter and oil; add egg, vanilla, soda, cream of tartar and flour.
Roll in balls the size of walnut.
Roll in sugar before baking (optional).
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 3 dozen.
