Merry Christmas Grog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 firm ripe pears
    4 c. cranberry juice
    3 c. dry wine
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. raisins
    6 inches total cinnamon sticks
    1 whole nutmeg
    6 whole cloves
    1/2 c. cranberry liquor
    cheesecloth
    pear slices
    cranberries
Preparation
    Pierce pears twice with fork.
    Wrap each pear in waxed paper. Twist ends to seal.
    Microwave on High 4 minutes or until tender. Set aside still wrapped.
