Polynesian Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pork sausage
    1 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 medium can sliced mushrooms
    1 chicken, boiled, deboned and cut into bite size pieces
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. cooked rice
    1 small can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 small jar pimientos
    1 small pkg. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Brown sausage; drain well.
    Saute celery, onion and bell pepper in butter.
    Cook rice in broth from the chicken.
    Mix all ingredients together, except the almonds.
    Place in a buttered casserole dish.
    Brown the almonds in butter.
