English Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. crushed almonds
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. water
    3 oz. chocolate chips
    1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Melt butter in pan.
    Add sugars and water.
    Stir constantly until it reaches 300\u00b0 on candy thermometer or when dropped in cold water it hardens immediately.
