Cafe Calypso - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. milk
1/3 c. instant coffee
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped
ground nutmeg
Preparation

Take a handful of bits of root for every half gallon of tea. Boil as you would coffee.
If you like strong flavor, boil until water turns darkish red.
Sweeten as you like.
Don't throw the roots away.
They'll last for several makings.
(Choose roots that are red and clean and soak overnight.)
