One-Hour Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 yeast cake
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix milk, salt and shortening and sugar to a boil; dissolve yeast cake in warm milk mixture.
    Let milk cool until just warm. Add beaten egg and dissolve yeast cake mixture with flour.
    Pour in greased mixing bowl.
    Let stand 1 hour at room temperature. Knead about 8 or 9 times.
    Roll out and make into desired shapes. Let stand another hour if permissible or else maybe bake right away.
    Always best to let stand another hour.
    Bake at 450\u00b0.
