Belle'S Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 yellow squash
    6 crackers, crumbled
    1/2 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1 onion, grated
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. cheese, grated
    salt and pepper to taste
    butter
Preparation
    Cook squash in small amount of salted water until tender. Drain and mash.
    Add cracker crumbs, milk, eggs, onion and cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
    Spoon into greased 1-quart casserole; dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
