Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large Vidalia onions
    2 sticks margarine
    24 Ritz crackers, crumbled
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Peel onions and slice into rings.
    Saute in margarine for 15 to 20 minutes until clear.
    Put half of onions in a casserole. Top with half of crumbs and sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    You may top with canned onion rings.
    A little milk or cream may be added to onions after they have been sauteed or if they are a little dry after baking.
