Flaky Butter Pastry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. all-purpose flour
1 egg
4 Tbsp. ice water
1 c. margarine or butter
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Measure flour into bowl.
Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Mix egg with lemon juice and ice water. Sprinkle over flour mixture.
Toss with fork until dough gathers into a ball.
If necessary, add more ice water, 1 tablespoon at a time. Chill to make handling easier.
