Maple Pecan Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. sour cream
    2 tsp. maple flavoring
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Beat butter and sugar together well.
    Add 6 egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Reserve whites for later. Sift together flour with soda.
    Add to butter mixture, alternating with the sour cream, a little at a time.
    Add maple flavoring. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and then pecans.
    Bake in greased Bundt pan for 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
