Cranberry Orange Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. shortening
3/4 c. orange juice (not concentrated)
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp. orange zest
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped cranberries
Preparation

Combine in medium bowl flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar. Then mix well in small bowl, shortening, orange juice, egg, orange zest, and almond extract. Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Fold in cranberries and pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Cool in pan 10 minutes and then remove and cool completely on wire rack.
