Basic Uncooked Buttercream Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
    3 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    dash of salt
    1/4 c. milk or coffee cream
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put butter into a small mixer bowl.
    Cream for a few seconds. Stop mixer.
    Add sugar, salt, milk and vanilla.
    Beat until blended and fluffy.
    Add a little more sugar, if necessary, for spreading consistency.
