Louisiana Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chuck roast, cubed
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    2 Tbsp. bacon fat or shortening
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    3 onions, sliced
    1/3 c. red wine vinegar
    1/2 c. molasses
    6 to 8 carrots, diced
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Combine flour and seasonings and sprinkle on beef cubes. Brown in hot fat.
    Add tomatoes, onions, vinegar and molasses. Bring to boil.
    Simmer for 2 hours then add carrots and raisins. Cook for 30 more minutes.
    Serve with rice or mashed potatoes. This dish can be made in a crock-pot.
