Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced, pared baking apples (about 4 medium)
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. regular oats
    3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    3/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/3 c. softened butter
    3/4 c. broken walnuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Grease baking pan, 8 x 8 x 2-inch. Arrange apples in pan.
    Mix remaining ingredients with fork; sprinkle over apples.
    Bake until apples are tender and topping is golden brown, about 30 minutes.
    Serve with cream, ice cream or hard sauce, if desired.
