Amaretto - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. boiling water
2 c. sugar
1 oz. almond extract
5 dashes bitters
1 fifth vodka

Preparation

Dissolve sugar in boiling water.
Add almond extract and bitters.
Let cool and add vodka.
Mix well.
Put in gallon jar with lid.
Cover and let sit 30 days.
