Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. cooked whole kernel corn
    1/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. baking powder
    Crisco for frying
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and baking powder.
    Beat eggs with milk. Add 1 tablespoon melted Crisco and the corn.
    Drop from teaspoon into hot Crisco.
    Fry until golden brown.
    Drain on absorbent paper.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
