Boiled Apple Dumpling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 c. hot water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 1/2 c. sliced apples
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk or cream
Preparation
    Cook apples in sugar, water and butter until soft.
    Make dough of flour, salt, baking powder and milk.
    Mix well.
    Drop into cooked apples by small spoon and cook 20 minutes.
