Grandma'S Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 or 3 cans kidney beans (16 oz.)
    1 can cut up tomatoes (16 oz.)
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 or 2 stalks celery, cut up
    1 small box elbow macaroni
    chili powder to your taste (usually 1 to 2 tsp.)
Preparation
    Brown and drain hamburger meat.
    In a large kettle, combine all ingredients except macaroni.
    Bring to a boil, then turn down heat and simmer until beans and celery are tender.
    Add macaroni and continue to simmer until macaroni is done.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Serve with saltine crackers.
